I paid $1.02 at the Register (.02 cents after Register Reward Rebate for all of this!!!

This is an example of the ultimate combination of sales, coupons, manufacturer's promotions and store promotions that allowed me to walk away with $253.01 worth of groceries for .02 cents - without even having double coupons! Here's How..........

1. I began with a $20 on you next order Catalina Coupon for Safeway that I had received as a result of purchasing 25 qualifying items during the Safeway Summer Savings Marathon in July.

2. In addition I had 2 coupons for $10 off your order of $50 or more when you use your club card sent from Safeway in the mail to my fabulous coworker who was kind enough to give me two of her four.

This gave me the equivalent of $40 in cash to work with and combine with coupons and deals. Â I could only use 1 $10 off coupon per order so I had to do two different transactions. Â

3. I had 15 coupons for free Kraft items - 3 each of 5 different coupons.Â

4. I had 14 coupons for save $3.00 off any Planter's nuts when you buy any 3 Kraft or Oscar Mayer products

5. The cashier rang up the FREE Kraft products at maximum value instead of the actual price which was lower and so IÂ

Â Â got overage which I used to buy more non free items which is why I ended up with the Oreo's, potato chips and M & M s,

Â Â I had to grab whatever was close to the register when the balance went negative. I would have bought more produce, dairy

Â Â Â or meat but I wasn't sure I would receive the overage and no one in my house complained about the cookies.

Transaction 1

The two important keys to these transaction are the $50 minimum needed to use the Safeway $10 off coupon comes from the total before coupons and it was the first one I handed to the cashier just in case. Kool-Aid is a Kraft product.

Â 27 packets of Kool-Aid @ .20 each = $5.40 This qualified me to use my $3.00 off Planters nuts which were on sale 2 for $6Â

Â Â 9 Jars of Planters Peanuts @ 3.00 each = 27.00 - 9 $3.00 off coupons = 0.00

Â Â 4 Boxes of Cheerios - Used the Safeway In Ad Super Coupon 4 for $6.00 - 3 $1.00 off one box coupons = $3.00

Â Â 1 Cans of Mighty Dog dog food @ .75 cents eachÂ - 1 Free Can coupons = 0.00

Â Â 2 Cans of Safeway Brand Beef Ravioli sale 10 for $10 = $2.00

Â Subtotal = $10.30 - $10.00 Safeway coupon =$ .30 cents

Â ( It should have been .40 cents but I was given the full .85 cents off for the free can of mighty dog which was on sale for .75 cents so I received .10 cents overage on this coupon)

45 packets of Kool-Aid @ .20 each = $9.00 -This qualified me to use the 15 FREE Kraft products above.

3 Kraft salad dressings FREE when you buy 3 Kraft products = 0.00

3 Family size boxes of Wheat Thins FREE when you buy 3 Kraft prodcuts = 0.00

3 Crystal Lite FREE when you buy any 3 Kraft products = 0.00

3 packages Kraft Singles FREE when you buy any 3 Kraft products = 0.00

3 packages Oscar Mayer Hot Dogs FREE when you buy any 3 Kraft products = 0.00

2 Oscar Mayer Max Lunchables $2.99 each = $5.98 - $5.00 Instant savings when you buy 5 Oscar Mayer products = $.98

(Even though the hot dogs were FREE the discount rings automaticly when the items are scanned and comes off before coupons)

5 Jars of Planters peanuts @ $3.00 each = $15.00 - 5 $3.00 off Planters when you buy 3 Kraft Products = 0.00

( The 3 FREE items were my qualifying purchase for each Planters coupon )

4 boxes of Nature Valley Granola bars used Safeway In Ad Super Coupon - 4 for $6 - 4 $.60 off one box coupons = $3.60

4 Motts Apple Juices on sale $1.99 - Used Safeway In Ad Super Coupon .99 limit one and 2-$1.00 on 2 Coupon =Â $4.96

3 Safeway Brand Yogurt @ .50 each - 1 buy 2 get one Free coupon = $1.00

1 pack of Safeway brand strawberry applesauces = $1.57

1 10 pound bag of Russett Potatoes on sale for $2.79

1 CantaloupeÂ = $1.00

1 pound of Carrots = $1.01

1 pound of Nectarines = $1.01

1.33 pound of Bannanas= $1.05

1 pack of Strawberry Applesauce = $1.57

1 Bag of Lay's potato chips= $1.99

I found your blog through money saving mom---and saw this HUGE shopping trip! What a steal of a deal! And you didn't even confuse me! I have recently started to use coupons and am loving it, but definitely know it will take a little bit more thinking and planning before I hit off a great deal like this. Way to go
